AB InBev’s 100+ Accelerator provides comprehensive support and funding to innovative sustainability startups as they look to scale up their technology to address the world’s social and environmental challenges. Now in partnership with Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive and Unilever, the programme has invested over $10m implementing 70 pilot projects in more than 30 countries, focusing on a host of sustainability topics ranging from water stewardship to smart agriculture and diversity & inclusion. Successes to date include the collection of more than 1,000 tons of glass waste in Brazil, the introduction of returnable packaging in the United States and recycled EV batteries in China. Judges were impressed by the accelerator’s collaborative approach and ambitious commitment to driving far-reaching impact.
