Entry Overview

Automotive battery maker, Clarios, has made big strides in circularity, creating a process for collecting and recycling used lithium-ion batteries as well as developing a new battery with 94% recycled content in two key materials. By using recycled materials in its batteries, Clarios uses 90% less energy and generates 90% less greenhouse gas emissions than those made with virgin materials.
