Sabina Mihailescu is the cofounder and general manager of ÎntreVecini, the first Romanian-based initiative aiming to transform urban communities into sustainable hubs. ÎntreVecini is bringing members of urban communities together through two clean energy and sustainability-focused community workshops. Since its foundation in 2023, ÎntreVecini has changed behaviours in more than 3,500 people, educating them on sustainability issues such as biodiversity, air pollution and green energy. ÎntreVecini currently supports the sustainable transition of seven communities in Bucharest and Targu Jiu and is preparing to onboard 30 more communities across Romania and 10 more communities in Europe and Africa, with a predicted impact of 50,000 people involved in the sustainable transformation of their communities by the end of 2024.
